Service Description
In this 4-week course, you will, gain new skills and receive all the support you need in creating you own unique soft furnishings project (curtains, roman blinds, cushion, window seats or something of your choice). Please get in touch with details of your project as space as we can only accommodate 1 person curtain making per session. Email: info@joppasewingschool.com Skills required: You should be confident using a sewing machine. What you will learn: Calculating fabric requirements, including allowances for hems and folds. Measuring and cutting fabric. Joining fabric and pattern matching Blind or curtain construction techniques including hand stitching to attach lining and finish hems (where appropriate) Understanding blind safety regulations (where appropriate) What to bring: Fabric Lining fabric (for curtains and blinds) Roman Blind Kit or curtain heading tape (for curtains and blinds) Matching thread

If we cancel your course you will be offered an alternative or a full refund. If you cancel the course within 4 weeks, fees will be non-refundable however the course can be transferred into another person's name.
