Course Description: Transform your home with beautifully crafted, bespoke Roman blinds — made entirely by you! Over two relaxed but productive days, you'll gain the skills and confidence to measure, cut, sew, and hang a fully lined Roman blind from scratch. Whether you're a complete beginner or a casual crafter looking to level up, this hands-on weekend course will leave you with a stunning finished piece and the know-how to make many more. Small class – Big results: With a maximum of just 4 people per class, you’ll benefit from a truly personal learning experience. There’s plenty of one-to-one time, no rushing, and a relaxed friendly atmosphere where no question is too small. Skills Required: No formal sewing experience is needed to enjoy this course, although a basic familiarity with a sewing machine is useful. We'll guide you through everything you need at a comfortable pace - all you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to have a go! What You Will Learn: • Measure your window correctly for a Roman blind • Calculate fabric requirements for Roman blinds • Cut and prepare your fabric and lining • Sew a fully lined Roman blind using professional techniques • Insert rods to create structured folds • Attach rings and cord for the lifting mechanism • Assemble a Roman blind kit and mechanism • Finish your blind so it hangs and folds beautifully By the end of the course, you will understand the full process of Roman blind construction and feel confident making additional Roman blinds at home. What to Bring: • Main fabric for your Roman blind. • Lining fabric – a good quality Roman Blind lining or blackout lining if you’d prefer. • Thread - to match or complement your main fabric • Roman blind kit, cut to size (option to purchase from us, pre-order required). • A packed lunch – there is a 30 minute lunch break each day. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout. Full guidance on fabric quantities and recommended materials will be provided before the class so you can prepare everything you need. All other materials, tools and equipment – including sewing machines – will be provided on the day and we have an option to pre-order the roman blind kit from us. Spaces are limited to ensure personal tuition, book early to avoid disappointment.

If we cancel your course you will be offered an alternative or a full refund. If you cancel the course within 4 weeks, fees will be non-refundable however the course can be transferred into another person's name.
