Family Sewing Session, 1 Adult & 1 Child

Service Description

Looking for a creative activity you can enjoy side by side with your child? This family-friendly sewing session is designed for parents and carers to attend with a child who is old enough to safely operate a sewing machine (you will have one sewing machine per adult/child couple so plenty of opportunity to help them out!). Together, you’ll learn basic sewing skills in a relaxed, supportive environment. You’ll be guided step-by-step through measuring, cutting, stitching and assembling your project, with plenty of encouragement along the way. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn something new, create something together and have lots of fun. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have made your own personalised bunting featuring a name or word of your choice, perfect for a bedroom, playroom or special celebration. Choose your fabrics and colours to make it completely unique. No previous sewing experience is necessary, just come ready to learn, create and enjoy some quality time together.
